Our West Musgrave nickel-copper project is located on Ngaanyatjarra country, in the Musgrave Province of Central Western Australia, and includes the Nebo and Babel nickel-copper deposits and the Succoth copper deposit.

West Musgrave, which has a 26-year mine life, will be an owner-operator mining operation and in addition to being powered by ~80 per cent renewable energy, the Project scope includes a pathway to net zero Scope 1 emissions by 2038.

The Project will feature an Autonomous Haulage System and remote operations from day one and our workforce will be a flexible, technology enabled team supported by remote operations to improve safety outcomes and maximise opportunities for flexible working and diverse participation.

**Location**: Adelaide/Perth.

**Roster**: Monday - Friday (Flexible working arrangements, such as working from home and 4-day week option)

**Reporting to**: Lead - Spatial Data Analyst

**Contract Type**: Permanent - full-time

**The Details**:
The Spatial Data Analyst will support the Operational Readiness activities required to ensure effective preparation and transition into operations for the West Musgrave Mine which is a part of OZ Minerals' growth strategy.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver support to multiple teams across West Musgrave ensuring foremost that our spatial data “Single Source of Truth” remains intact, current, and accessible to all stakeholders. The role will be responsible for ensuring that data collected across construction and operational readiness activities complies with established standards and is effectively managed and stored in our GIS Database.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Spatial Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring that spatial data is collected, stored, and accessed in a manner that complies with our internal standards. Specifically, this includes:

- Supporting stakeholders from across the organization by supplying spatial data required for reports, presentations, government submissions, external communications, and progress reports.
- Maintain spatial data governance over GIS and other related systems to ensure that information is collected, stored, and utilised as outlined by OZ Minerals standards or industry best practice.
- Support efforts to improve current digital systems, or implement new solutions, to ensure the operation has the best spatial platforms to meet its needs.
- Work to automate processes and systems wherever possible and develop ways to create self-service spatial platforms for stakeholders.

- Experience interpreting multiple spatial layers, including how these function between different departments and professions.
