Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector (Goods-In) to join our established and dedicated team.

Minara Resources is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. **The Role**
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who is responsible for ensuring the quality of the goods received when they are delivered to site meet with the requirements specified, and for inspecting items received to ensure that the goods delivered are complying with the specification and received as accepted.

You will be responsible for:

- Plan, execute, and oversee goods inspection for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables
- Carry out inspection at the place where the goods are being received (mainly stores or designated place of goods delivery) primarily focused on the appearance, construction, and basic function of the goods received
- investigate reports of goods quality and conformance issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Develop or update procedures for non-conformance, investigation, and documentation of goods received
- Monitor and maintain problem logs and report issues to relevant personnel. Inspection is usually 100% and testing, where required, for the selected samples
- The function also includes measuring, examining, evaluating or otherwise comparing the findings with applicable requirements or standard and specification
- If required, goods should also be tested by non-destructive testing (NDT), PMT methods.

**About You**
This role would suit an experienced QA Technician with a broad view on mechanical equipment and a thorough knowledge of the standards and specifications and quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

You will also have:

- Minimum 5 years of experience with understanding of QA functions and methodology.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field preferably quality assurance (advantageous)
- Thorough knowledge of the standards and specifications and follow the documented procedures and keep proper records.
- Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Proficiency in best practices for quality assurance and defect management
- Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE/A
- A Western Australian Manual drivers Licence
