**Employment Type**: Temporary Job Assignment - Approx. 2 week duration

**About the Role**
Premier People are seeking an experienced **Sand Blaster**, to assist our client in Welshpool with their Industrial Mining equipment and products.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Operate high-pressured equipment to shoot abrasives, remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
- Load and unload the blast cabinet
- Assist with painting or coating as needed
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards, and make necessary adjustments
- Identify and separate non-conforming parts or materials and report them to Team Leader

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in sand blasting
- Eye for detail and quality
- Great team player, who understands the impact poor quality, rework & missing the deadlines will have on other workstations.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
