Sydney, Australia Consulted Project Services Pty Ltd Full time

As a Construction Labourer working for Consulted, your role will be vital in supporting the construction team in various building projects. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of physical tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the construction site. Your dedication and hard work will contribute to the successful completion of projects and the growth of the construction company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Transport and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment as required by the construction team.
- Demolition and Cleanup: Participate in demolition activities and ensure the proper disposal of waste and debris.
- Assisting Tradespeople: Support tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) by providing them with necessary tools and materials and helping with their tasks as directed.
- Concrete and Masonry Work: Assist in pouring and spreading concrete, as well as laying bricks, blocks, or other masonry materials.
- Operating Machinery: Operate basic construction equipment, such as wheelbarrows, shovels, drills, and other handheld tools safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the construction site clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team members.
- Follow Instructions: Listen to and follow the instructions of supervisors and experienced workers to learn and improve your skills.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other construction workers, contractors, and team members to achieve project goals.

**Requirements**:

- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Safety Consciousness: Prioritization of safety and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on diverse tasks and adapt to changing priorities on construction sites.
- Previous Experience: While prior construction experience is beneficial, it is not always a requirement, as on-the-job training may be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $46,039.91 - $70,517.10 per year
