**Who you are**

UniSQ is seeking a proactive, results-driven, collaborative, and engaging individual to lead the establishment of a centralised hub and build a presence for UniSQ in Brisbane.

As a skilled networker and leader, utilising your skills and experience will be crucial in developing partnership strategies and maintaining important relationships that drive the strategic and operational initiatives for UniSQ Brisbane. Your capability to work independently, recognise and capitilise on business opportunities, and effectively manage operations to achieve exceptional customer-focused results will guarantee your success in this newly created position.

**What you'll do**

The Associate Director at UniSQ Brisbane will work closely with the University to effectively develop and lead business and community engagement strategies. The goal is to establish the facility as a key meeting point for engaging with industry, government, and other stakeholders. The Associate Director will also be responsible for managing the facility's operations.

The position will be key in identifying, cultivating, and acquiring new customers, business, and research opportunities that will drive growth and profitability through an increase of UniSQ’s brand awareness and reputation.

**What will help you succeed**
- Relevant post-graduate qualification with extensive experience and expertise in business development, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, and/or education and/or training.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and business development methodologies and ability to organise and deliver a sales program, plan and strategy and deliver against set targets.
- Significant leadership experience with a proven track record leading a team environment that develops effective working relationships, collaborative work practices, consideration for colleagues and valuing the contribution of others.
- A strategic problem solver who can focus on long-term goals and adapt focus accordingly.
- High-level ability to analyse, interpret and report on statistical data and market intelligence from other sources.
