**About your new role**

As Regulatory Manager - Casino 2.0 you will provide support to The Star with its transformation journey towards carded and cashless gaming by August 2024, by managing multiple requests for changes including seeking all regulatory approvals necessary to effect this. You will work with cross-functional teams as part of the dynamic NSW Regulatory Affairs and Engagement team, to establish the technology necessary to reach the milestones within the timeframe. Acting as regulatory program lead on this exciting transformation project, you will liaise with both NSW and Queensland Regulators to meet commitments, and build strong relationships with full and regular communication. You will attend regulator internal working group meetings and external meetings with the Regulator, working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to assist The Star during this incredible time as it transitions towards becoming a fully cashless casino. This pivotal role is a truly unique opportunity to spread your wings and effect positive change across the industry in a once-in-a-career type role.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Extensive experience in legal, regulatory or compliance roles in a highly regulated environment
- Experience in working with regulatory authorities is highly desirable
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills, particularly in a regulatory affairs setting
- A proven ability to drive accountability and deliver results
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Law/Governance is desirable
- Innovative, self starter who will take the initiative and work with a high level of autonomy
- Strong interest in digitisation and information technology
