The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), the principal organisation representing the medical speciality of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a Reporting and Evaluation Officerr to join our growing Education and Training Department.

The key objective of the position is to provide statistical analysis and reporting to support the development of the College’s educational reporting and evaluation functions, primarily in the Education and Training Department.

**This role has a specific focus to**:

- Undertake statistical development and evaluation to support Education operational and development activities, including the College examinations and summative assessments, both centrally administered and workplace-based and the education and training reports.
- Design evaluation tools and protocols and analyse data for the allocated projects and education initiatives.
- Support the implementation of the strategic reporting and evaluation plan for the Education and Training department.
- Provide data analysis and any benchmarking or research as required on government and other College external developments, educational policy and mental health and general health services.
- Undertake effective stakeholder consultation, liaise with any government, professional bodies, and community groups to advance the work and strategic objectives of the College.
- Support the work for the College Congress, educational events with the preparation of abstracts and material for poster and PowerPoint presentations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in appropriate education, health statistics, social science or research discipline.
- Demonstrated program evaluation experience in medical education/health professional education and/or health services.
- Qualifications and/or appropriate experience in project development and statistical evaluation, including literature reviews, data collation and interpretation, and identification of evaluation instruments and presentation of data analysis to a wide audience of stakeholders.
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office, including proficiency in Excel and confidence in manipulating large datasets and creating pivot tables, charts, and graphs.
- Experience with data collection and analysis software including SPSS, Nvivo and SurveyMonkey.
- Experience in the provision of committee support, including the preparation of meeting papers, writing of minutes and correspondence, and the follow-up of action items.
