OGIP is a high functioning group of people who are responsible for ensuring DCJ’s compliance with the _Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009_ (GIPA Act), the _Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act_ _1998_ (PPIP Act), as well as complying with subpoenas and statutory orders relating to the provision of information.

Roles may require the following checks/clearances:

- Fingerprint checks are required to be conducted at a Police Station and obtained prior to commencing with DCJ.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the _Disability Inclusion Act 2014_.
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the _Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012_.
