**About the role**

Are you a dedicated registered Medical Practitioner looking to develop your career and enhance your lifestyle? We are actively seeking a vibrant enthusiastic Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology as our Birth Suite Lead.

This role would be predominantly provide leadership and clinical development within the Birth Suite working collaboratively with the wider maternity multidisciplinary team. To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication and leadership skills enabling you to work in partnership with patients, midwives & doctors. You will inspire the team to provide the best evidence based care, working within and developing Geelong Hospital guidelines.

You will also be involved in pregnancy care clinic where you provide expertise in high risk pregnancies, including maternal medicine. You will be involved in reviewing adverse incidents & complaints to inform on how best to improve the service. Debriefing the team & patients will be part of your role.

You will be registered with AHPRA and be able to demonstrate your achievements through your commitment to innovation by shaping strategic thinking through your professionalism, relationship building and personal drive.
