The successful applicant will be part of Sydney CBD's Barista / All rounder Team. This is a hands-on role suited to a positive, vibrant and enthusiastic person A lover of hospitality as a means to bring people together and someone with a want to create community is essential The applicant will be passionate about working with a great team of Specialty Coffee, Kitchen and Service professionals.

**Join the Team**

We are looking for a dedicated & passionate **_Barista / All Rounder_** to join Pablo & Rusty’s SYD CBD Team. Our high-volume café has a focus on specialty coffee and alternative brewing methods such as batch brews and pour overs. You must be a lover of coffee

**Your Responsibilities** include but are not limited to:

- Skillfully preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages with precision and consistency, ensuring each cup meets our high standards.
- Demonstrating your creativity through detailed latte art, enhancing the visual appeal of each drink.
- Engaging customers in meaningful conversations about our premium coffee, sharing insights on origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques to deepen their appreciation.
- Keeping a clean and organized workstation, following strict hygiene and safety protocols, and regularly calibrating and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.
- Working collaboratively with fellow baristas and team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy times and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, providing personalized service to make each customer’s experience memorable.
- Accurately and efficiently handling transactions with strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Enhancing the overall ambiance of our coffee shop by assisting with tasks such as organizing displays and maintaining an inviting environment.

We are looking for someone who is:

- A team player and experienced in a specialty coffee that understands different variables in the brewing process and have a good understanding of single origins.
- A self-disciplined, motivated and dedicated coffee lover;
- hospitable by nature with a genuine desire to serve others;
- willing to learn and have their coffee understanding challenged;
- committed to producing the best possible outcome in every cup.

Experience in the espresso and filter bar at a high-volume cafe is required. Experience with brewing methods such as pour-over, batch brew, and cold drip is highly preferred.
