**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Provides timely sterile products, trays and equipment for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Rotation through all areas of CSSD
- Able to work autonomously.
- Working a rotating roster including weekends.

**SUMMARY OF ROLE**:

- In the role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Mercy Hospital for women for various clinical departments within the hospital.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Certificate 3 or 4 qualification in sterilisation services.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a sterilising unit
- Positive attitude to enable to work effectively alongside the team as well as independently as required.
- Customer service oriented in both internal and external settings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
