**Continuing Position**

The School of Biological Sciences seeks to appoint a lecturer in immunology in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (SET). This is a teaching and research position and the appointee will ideally have experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching. They will be expected to establish and maintain a dynamic research program and contribute to trans-disciplinary research within the School of Biological Sciences and wider academic community.

**To be successful you will need**:
**Level B**
- PhD or equivalent degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences with a focus on immunology.
- Demonstrated research excellence and knowledge in immunology (fundamental immunology, cancer, autoimmune disease and/or host response to infection) including a publication record in peer reviewed scientific journals.
- Ability to lead an independent research program and work in a collaborative environment.
- Success in obtaining external funding as a lead investigator.
- Some teaching experience in immunology at undergraduate level with the ability to use modern pedagogy techniques that foster student engagement.
- Genuine commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.

**Level C**
- PhD or equivalent degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences with a focus on immunology.
- Demonstrated research excellence and knowledge across broad aspects of immunology (fundamental immunology, cancer, autoimmune disease and/or host response to infection) and a publication record in high impact peer reviewed scientific journals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead an independent research program and work in a collaborative environment.
- Success in obtaining external peer reviewed funding as a first named investigator.
- Demonstrated ability to teach immunology at undergraduate level that uses modern pedagogy techniques fostering student engagement.
- Track record in the supervision of Honours, Masters and/or PhD level students through to completion.
- Genuine commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
