As a result of a restructure of this Business Unit’s finance team they are now seeking to appoint a Commercial Analyst to ensure the co-ordination and timely delivery of pricing and rate card costing models.

**Reporting to the **Commercial** Manager**, your **responsibilities will include**:

- Point of contact for pricing queries for National, New Business and Mid Market requests with peer review by the Commercial Manager and Commercial Business Partners.
- Manage pricing and rate card costing models.
- Manage mid market framework and compliance including ensuring all contractual price adjustments are completed.
- Work with the Commercial Manager to deliver Continuous Improvement of pricing models and rate card improvements.
- Assist the Commercial Manager and Commercial Business Partners during uprate process.
- Provide financial analysis and modelling for growth opportunities.
- Provide commercial review and insight to customer contract management.
- Assist in performing reviews on competitors and acquisition opportunities.
- Perform analysis of existing pricing strategy to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Write reports and presentations communicating the results of analyses performed.
- Interpret, identify risks and devise strategies for mitigation of risks with respect to existing and proposed contracts.
- Support competitor performance analysis to gain a better understanding of the successes or failures of a particular business strategy.
- Assist with preparation of pricing for tenders and provide input to tender commercial matters so as to comply with financial and risk benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain cost models and financial reporting tools ensuring information is delivered in a timely and accurate manner that adds value to the business.
- Ensure that approved projects are delivering against key measures via the completion of post investment reviews to ensure assumptions made in the financial modelling are being adhered to, with any deviations investigated and confirmed by operations to ensure the financial and risk benchmarks are being managed.

**To be successful in this critical role you will bring the following skills and experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, accounting or related studies.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting packages.
- Assertive with proven ability to build networks and manage relationships, and establish credibility and influence across all layers of the company.
- Financial knowledge around consolidation of results, financial and management accounting, audit, taxation and corporate financing.
- Working knowledge of business systems and processes in order to optimise and simplify business processes utilising technology.
- Financial, business analysis and commercial experience in a complex, diverse, multi-site business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.
- Process orientated and able to prioritise according to tight timeframes.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
