Our Client based in Eagle Farm produces high quality, market leading Heavy Vehicles for the construction and mining industries. They have a 3 - 6 Month contract role to start ASAP. Potential to join the team in the future. QC skills or experience in the Heavy vehicle industry highly regarded - Mechanical, trade or engineering background preferred but not essential.
- Monday to Friday Dayshift role
- 6am - 2pm Monday - Thurs + Early finish on a Friday
- 3 - 6 month contract role initially.
- $$$ Negotiable rate
- Immediate start

This role supplies continuous hands-on support to the production team. Working together, in real-time in the production lines you will work with the Production, Stores, Engineers, suppliers and Quality Control teams. You will also be responsible for inbound and outbound inspection processes. You will help monitor, test and check compliance of incoming goods. Using an ipad, your visual and hands-on experience and cmm tools you will support the production team when issues arise. You will then control and manage the quarantined parts by tagging and labelling them, isolating them in correct areas.

Essentially your role is to ensure that assembled products meet all company standards, match the Engineers technical drawings / specifications. Conform to QA/QC compliance standards.

This will include:

- Using Ipads, ERP systems
- Registering issues / Initiating documentation
- Taking photos and measurements
- Liaising with team members and management
- Determining whether there are issues with parts
- Whether to reject or replace parts.
- Whether damage is team or supplier related
- Arrange supplier claims and returns
- Work with QC managers and Engineers
- Any other QC / QA duties as required.
