**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the Waste Intelligence Network (WIN) as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria

The WIN Intelligence Officer will be an integral member of the WIN intelligence team contributing to the intelligence capability and supporting the WIN program by working with state government agencies and fostering partnerships to work towards a goal of preventing harm to the Victorian Community and the environment.

**Duties**
- Support inter-agency regulatory operations and investigations by providing input and support to fit-for-purpose strategic and tactical intelligence products.
- Undertake administrative processes and other tasks as directed for the effective achievement of inter-agency regulatory outcomes
- Track and report of risks and issues in collaboration with the WIN Tasking and Coordination Committee and the High-risk Sites Coordination Committee.

**Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary degree and/or post graduate qualifications in intelligence, criminology, environmental studies, or similar is desirable.
- Experience working in a law enforcement or regulatory environment.
- A proven record of achievement in a similar role contributing to organisational excellence, high standards of performance and a positive organisational culture.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with a range of stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
- Ability to think outside the square, a willingness to try new things and a genuine desire to learn, share knowledge and make a difference.
