We are looking for an **experienced qualified Butcher** to join our retail team in Bayswater.

Hours: 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities will include:

- Portion cutting, trimming and slicing meat ready for other team members to tray pack and display in store.
- Breaking down lamb carcasses into primary and secondary cuts.
- Preparing both retail and wholesale orders to customer specifications.
- Answering customer questions.

The successful applicant should possess the following:

- Ability to work independently.
- Understanding of the local customer base.
- Skills in stock management.
- A strong grasp of PrimeSafe and Food Standards.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bayswater, VIC 3153: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Butchery: 2 years (required)
