**THE OPPORTUNITY**

TAFE NSW is looking for a qualified, experienced and passionate teacher of Legal Services with current industry experience and industry knowledge to join the team. This is temporary full-time role till July 2024 and will be based at TAFE NSW Granville campus. This role involves both daytime and evening teaching, including where required by virtual delivery.

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will love this position if you like to share your passion in Legal and Paralegal Services and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are ready to educate a team of passionate students from a range of backgrounds to achieve their personal and work goals whilst developing and implementing an educational and career plan. You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams (or similar online collaboration tool) along with competent digital literacy to operate via connected learning platforms and willingness to support evening classes for paralegal courses.

To be considered for the role you will have:

- Diploma (or above) in Paralegal Services or equivalent legal qualification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Minimum three years post qualification experience within legal industry in last five years.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency
- Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry with a strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Vocational Education and Training sector
