Schlam is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Operations Administrator provide support to our Manufacturing and Production team. You will primarily coordinate all administrative tasks across all Manufacturing activities, including Quality and to help administer our newly implemented Manufacturing Execution System. **In this role, your responsibilities include**:

- Compilation and maintenance of the Quality Master Register
- Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Welding Inspectors in relation to populating forms, work packs and Inspections Test Plans (ITP’s)
- Ensuring that all documents comply with QA Standard and correctly completed and signed off by the appropriate parties
- Completion of QA documentations
- Coordination of payment claim and supporting documentations
- Providing material search for each parts list and material certificates from nesting plot
- Ensuring that all inspection and testing activities are conducted and verified, in accordance with the requirements of the ITP
- Prepare the compilation of the Project Manufacture Data Reports (MDR’s) as required
- Coordinating/communicating with subcontractors to ensure all QA documents complete.
- Manufacturing Execution System administration

**What you need for this role**:

- Minimum 3 years experience working in a mechanical or fabrication environment as support or in an administrative role will be highly desirable
- Understanding of fabrication including welding compliance will be beneficial
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Computer literacy skills with intermediate skills in MS Office as a minimum
- Ability to learn new systems and navigate through issues as they arise
- Qualification or a Diploma in Business Administration will be highly desirable
