**Position description**
We seek an enthusiastic Laboratory Aide (Support Services) to join our vibrant Histology department in Macquarie Park. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Unloading stainers and unpacking slides to be quality checked against blocks.
- Preparing and assigning cases to pathologists in accordance to their specialties
- Delivering allocated work within strict timeframes for courier collection.
- Other laboratory tasks as required.

We are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment therefore prior experience is not required as full training will be provided.

We are looking for the following:

- Open to work 38 hours a week Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
- A highly motivated, keen to learn individual with strong problem solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with good time management skills
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of medical terminology would be preferable.
