The Online Safety, Media and Platforms Division provides advice to the Minister for Communications on a broad range of issues and leads the development of policy and regulatory responses which:

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic policy professionals to fill roles in the Media Reform Branch.

The **Media Reform Branch **is responsible for developing a pathway for reform of Australia's media policy and regulatory settings to support a vibrant and sustainable domestic media sector. The media sector has had to adapt to a changing landscape as consumers shift online to adopt new technologies and market offerings. It seeks to analyse the current market, engage with stakeholders, and lead on changes to modernise regulation for a sector that affects millions of Australians every day.

A Policy Officer is responsible for:

- Contributing to policy development and providing policy advice.
- Developing relationships and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting in preparing a range of high-quality written materials, including correspondence, briefs and submissions.
- Conducting research and analysis activities in support of policy development.

A merit pool will be established for a period of 18 months from the date of this advertisement as a result of the selection process.
