**Hastings Family Medical Centre** are seeking an experienced medical receptionist with exceptional interpersonal skills, who is ready for an exciting challenge and to be part of a supportive, friendly and hardworking team.

The role is
**part-time, 35 hours per week **and receives a dedicated training program upon commencement, that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality patient service to ensure your success in the role.

In a day in the life of our Medical receptionist you will:

- Ensure smooth patient flow through clinic
- Meet & greet patients, attend to busy phone lines, appointment book management & supervision waiting room.
- Effectively book and manage patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and files.
- Liaise with GP’s, fellow staff members, management, patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ensuring the clinic and reception area is immaculate at all times.
- Cleaning of rooms & common areas as required.
- Support the GP’s, nursing staff, fellow reception team members and management in a range of admin tasks.

**What we need from you**:

- Exceptional customer service and delivery of quality, compassionate and accurate administrative services to health professionals and patients.
- High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
- A high level of motivation & initiative.
- Computer literacy and tech savvy (competency in Best Practice is highly desirable).
- Ability to work independently, with confidence as well as in a large team.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi task and willingness to learn is a must.
- Ability to be flexible and committed to working a rotating roster
