Glazier Installer

Gerrys Glass is currently seeking the expertise of a talented and professional glazier to expand our Installation teams where your skills will be fully utilized to measure and install all manner of glass to our onsite projects. i.e balustrades, mirrors, showers, splashbacks, glass roofs and floors in homes and businesses through Sydney metro areas.

**What we’re looking for**

We are looking for a glazier who has high technical ability who is able to understand the scope of work and be able to deliver outcomes based on time and budget constraints of each project.

A tradesman who has a great understanding of the tools and hardware required to complete each project. Carpentry skills can be beneficial.

The role is full time Monday to Friday with overtime availability.

Factory is based in Leichhardt though our projects span the greater Sydney area.

**Glazier Responsibilities**:

- Interpreting site plans and installation methods.
- Measuring and setting out complex designs.
- Installing mirrors, showers, splashbacks, shopfronts, windows and specialty custom works.
- Proficient use of power and glazing tools.
- Loading glass onto delivery trucks for transport to the job site.
- Driving trucks to job sites and unloading glass and materials.
- Fabricating and installing aluminum and surround frames for glass installation.
- Cutting and removing broken glass prior to new installation.
- Cleaning the job area once glass has been installed and the client is satisfied.

**Glazier Requirements**:

- 3+ years working as a glazier or commercial glazier.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Good communication skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations.
- Customer service
- Cutting and removing broken glass prior to new installation.
- Cleaning the job area once glass has been installed and the client is satisfied.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
