In this role, key accountabilities will include:

- Follow the organisation's HS&W policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate health and safety risks in the workplace. Take appropriate action to resolve these, escalating safety related concerns appropriately and timely to the HSW Enabling Partner or appropriate stakeholder.
- Investigates standard and non-routine incidents and reports and provides coaching and safety related advice to the business, conducts first tier inspections, risk assessments and safety assurance activities while coordinating with all internal functions to facilitate effective implementation of compliance programs to minimise risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards.
- Coach, guide and support our people and frontline leaders on safety procedures and protocols, empowering them to take ownership and improve safety outcomes.
- Required to work within flexible working hours to support 24/7 operations when duties are specified and required including but not limited to emergency and incident management response.

**About you**
- A genuine drive, motivation and passion for safety and being apart of a broader team to achieve a goal,
- The ability to build relationships working with supervisors and front-line workers to influence and coach HSW operational performance outcomes,
- Previous experience working in a similar Advisor role highly regarded, but this role would also be open to recent graduates from the industry,
- Experience or understanding in developing, implementing and maintaining WHS systems with a preference for ISO 450001,
- Diploma or Degree level qualification in Occupational / Work Safety and Health,
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft office suite.
