**What will you do in an average week?**
- Take on full 'end to end' store accountability for driving sales, building customer relationships, managing store KPI’s and promotions and ensuring merchandising standards are at a superior level
- Influence, motivate and inspire your ‘high performing’ team to deliver an exceptional retail experience and service to customers that will ensure they keep coming back, every time
- Use your solid retail skills to ensure the fundamentals are exceptionally executed, including full stock on shelf, cleanliness, customer service, VM, inventory management and loss prevention
- Communicate effectively and positively with the store team to execute change initiatives and implement new ideas (whether yours or that of your team)
- Be a valued brand ambassador and the ‘face’ of your store.
**Here’s what it will take**:
- **You are a credible Store Manager**: with years of proven experience in large format retailer with a significant turnover
- **You have an affinity with hardware/tools**; whether through your retail career or personal interests. It is not essential to have worked within another hardware/tools retailer.
- **You are a culture builder**: You get the best out of your team by celebrating discretionary efforts, creating purpose and a sense of belonging and by building trust. You listen and you project openness and approachability
- **You’re a performer & you deliver in the right way**: You have led large teams and can articulate how you have been able to enhance business efficiency and performance to deliver outstanding results
- **You have strong business acumen & financial literacy**: You can manage a P&L and understand the financial levers across all aspects
- **You are impactful**: you naturally translate the ‘vision’ into day-to-day performance
- **You are considered**: a coach and mentor and you can foster a culture of evolution and change
