The Jan Goldberg is a humble country pub focused on fresh food, local community, and supporting our Homegrown Heroes here in SA The hotel boasts accommodation, a front bar, large bistro dining, TAB, Keno, a gaming room, and a Sip'n'Save bottleshop.
**THE JOB**
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn the ropes
This is an entry-level role, perfect for a first job or to be balanced alongside studies.
This role is currently available for 15+ hours per week, evening and weekend availability is essential.
- To perform cleaning duties within the kitchen department as required including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils/crockery used in a kitchen, bistro, restaurant, and function departments
- To assist employees who are cooking, including the assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking or salads
- Assembly of ingredients for salads and other non-cooked menu items
- To assist as required in undertaking general pantry duties
- To participate as part of a team providing services to patrons to ensure an excellent customer experience
- To follow directions of senior management during shifts
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures at all times
- Other duties as required to effectively manage the Venue and provide an exceptional customer experience, or as directed by management
- Follow Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012
- Any other duties directed by Management
