Treetops is a small, caring educational community, located in the Perth Hills. Due to continued growth in student numbers throughout the school, we are seeking enthusiastic Secondary teachers. These are full-time positions, with the roles to commence from Term 1 2025.
The school utilises the Western Australian Curriculum for Years 7 to 10 and the WACE General in Years 11 to 12. The school also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Years 11-12.
Knowledge of Montessori and International Baccalaureate philosophy is required for the advertised roles.

- Science and Mathematics (Years 7-10)
- English and HaSS (Years 7-10)

**To apply**:
**Key Objectives**
To carry out the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures, under the direction of the Head of Secondary and the Principal.
- be a qualified teacher, with TRBWA clearance, and be able to teach in WA:
- Bachelor of Education qualification; or
- relevant Bachelor qualification, together with a Graduate Diploma of Education in Teaching.
- current TRBWA registration.
- current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian curriculum.
- be able to independently create programs and assessments which engage and motivate students in a multi-age classroom
- be able to effectively manage the pastoral, behavioural, academic and social needs of a diverse range students.
- be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- be a positive, hard-working, flexible, and collaborative professional.
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to embrace the ethos of Treetops School, especially respect for the individual, while delivering an innovative and academically-challenging education.
- Experience teaching students in Years 7 to 10 and/or Years 11 to 12.
- Experience in child-centered education and inquiry-based learning.
- Experience in multi-age grouping.
- Ability to create and manage a differentiated curriculum.
- Open to learning new skills and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a highly differentiated student-centered school culture.
