The business is renowned for its strengths in compliance, QHSE and information management, alongside its specialist expertise in energy logistics.

They are currently seeking to appoint an Expeditor, responsible for expediting and facilitating the flow of purchase orders from each Vendor, delivered in accordance with the customer’s requirement or service agreements. You will also ensure all documentation is processed and completed in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with standard operating procedure.

**Your key responsibilities will **be to**:

- Maintain regular communication with suppliers and the customer procurement team to gather and provide information on Purchase Order availability and vendor performance
- Maintain expediting log in Insight based on the Expediting Dashboard status
- Promptly address EDI discrepancies
- Action and Monitor Urgent Purchase Orders
- Work closely with customer export coordinators and administrators to carry out
- daily/weekly administrative tasks
- Prepare and distribute Expediting reports
- Actively participate in customer’s conference calls
- Assist customers and vendors with the traceability of purchase orders

**What you will bring to the role**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Advanced negotiation and relationship skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- High attention to detail and strong planning and organising skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
