Currently, we’re searching for passionate and dedicated Mathematics Tutors who are ready to inspire and be part of a transformative educational experience. **Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized mathematics tutoring to high school students across various grades and mathematical disciplines.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, incorporating the latest educational resources and AI tools provided by Positive Education.
- Track and report on students’ progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure academic improvement.
- Offer support, motivation, and guidance to students, fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain open and cooperative communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and receiving feedback.
- Participate in tutor training and development opportunities facilitated by Positive Education to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational trends.

**Requirements**:

- A strong proficiency in high school mathematics, including but not limited to algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable.
- Own Transportation and ability to visit homes located in the Hills District, NSW.
- A dynamic, creative, and adaptable teaching style that can cater to various learning needs and preferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and the Positive Education team.
- A current Working with Children check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing employment.
- A genuine enthusiasm for mathematics and education, with a commitment to fostering positive learning experiences.

Expected hours: 1 - 6 per week
