Forensic Social Worker

Health and Community Recruitment are a specialist recruitment agency dedicated to connecting passionate health and community talent with the best opportunities.
We are proudly partnering with the lead provider of forensic rehabilitation treatment service across Victoria and are currently looking for clinicians who are passionate about starting or growing their career in this field.
The role works with service users who are predominantly sexual / violent offenders currently in custody across Geelong's prison system and will involve:
- Screening participants for the program
- Assessment of suitable and available treatment and programs
- Treatment programs for service user including 1 on 1 and running group sessions.
This is not a case management position, and doesn’t have a set “caseload”, your week will be flexibly structured while giving you exposure to working across a variety of interventions in the rehabilitation life cycle. If you enjoy a mix of assessment and therapeutic practice this role may be for you.
Starting salary is $90k + super but can be assessed based on experience up to $95k + super. Sponsorship and relocation are available, but you will need to be eligible for full AASW or AHPRA registration. A full driver's licence is required, and the role will require someone flexibility to travel across various sites in Geelong. Vehicle use reimbursement will be provided.
