**Your new role**

As the Manager - Sustainability, you will lead SA Water’s approach to drive sustainable outcomes across their material sustainability areas, lead the development and implementation of business systems, processes, and reporting to embed sustainability at the heart of what they do to increase capability across SA Water. Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead sustainability assessments to continuously improve sustainable outcomes.
- Lead the development of Aboriginal outcomes in support of reconciliation.
- Build and lead an effective team that works collaboratively towards achieving the organisation’s goals.
- Develop and implement Sustainability Frameworks and Systems, reporting and evaluation.
- Position SA Water at the forefront of water industry and sustainability

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Knowledge and understanding of legislative, policy, regulatory and best practice requirements associated with ESG and sustainability.
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, social science/policy, sustainability or a related discipline or significant equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated successful experience in leading and supporting Aboriginal outcomes and in-depth knowledge of Aboriginal policy.
- Strong knowledge of social sustainability and ethical practices.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and integrating sustainability frameworks and tools, including sustainability reporting and proven experience in delivering tangible outcomes in past positions
- Well-developed communication skills, including exceptional stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience in managing critical, sensitive and/or complex information and consultation processes with stakeholders and across government agencies.
