**About the role**

TAFE NSW has two exciting opportunities for motivated individuals with current experience within the education sector to join the TAFE Digital team as an Education Support Officer located at Strathfield Campus. One position lies within the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) team, and the other within the Foundation Skills & Languages team (ABE and ESOL).

Your role will be responsible for a range of tasks which directly and indirectly supports the learning process for students from various backgrounds and needs. You will be a part of a dynamic team, helping students to understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment.

**Note**: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- A minimum Bachelor’s Degree (AQF 7) or higher in literacy OR TESOL or TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocation Practice Skill Set
- Minimum of two years industry experience within the education sector
- Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used within Community Services
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
