In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia are currently seeking a **Shuttle Bus Driver and Transport Officer** to support our Defence contract at Victoria Barracks, Melbourne.

This full-time Monday to Friday role will be responsible for transporting Defence passengers to and from two metro bases and will also maintain the Defence Pool Vehicle Fleet across both locations.

**Additional duties and responsibilities**:

- Support the team to manage the Ventia and Defence pool vehicle fleet
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned and sanitized regularly (vehicle detailing).
- Provide customer service support e.g., assist customers with the collection of booked pool vehicles.
- Must maintain all Defence vehicles in a safe condition - ensure servicing and vehicle non-technical inspections are done regularly. Assistance with basic vehicle fault finding and maintenance
- Deliver transport activities to meet Defence tasking requirements - Timetabled shuttle Bus

**What you’ll need to be successful**:

- Driver Accreditation issued by Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria/Safe Transport Victoria
- Competent driver
- Excellent customer service,
- High level of presentation and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- A positive attitude

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check.
