**Assistant Manager - Ships & Terminals**:
**About the job**:
Reporting to the National Manager - Ships & Terminals, the **Assistant Manager - Ships & Terminals** role will be responsible for:

- Providing Operational support activities for CMA CGM and ANL services calling Ports and Terminals in Australia ensuring optimal outcome overall for the Group in terms of operational efficiencies
- Oversee the management of the Vessel Operations team ensuring key objectives of service delivery are achieved.
- Monitor the performance of third-party providers to ensure KPIs are met/exceeded and drive continuous improvement in their service delivery.
- Deputize for National Manager - Ships and Terminals in managing the team, and be the second in charge for Agency Operations Department.

**Skills**:

- Unlimited working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship or permanent residence)
- Tertiary qualifications in Nautical studies or Port Operations or Logistics/ Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 4 years of **experience in Maritime Operations, Vessel husbandry or other operational areas within the shipping industry**:

- Working knowledge of the Australian Shipping Industry with previous** experience in a Supervisory role**.
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Good problem-solving ability and **strong negotiation skills**:

- Experience in implementing **process improvements and optimization**:

- Excellent **communication skills **with the ability to engage with various levels of the organization
- Demonstrated **change management experience**:

- Valid Drivers License
