**The Sime Darby Motors Group in Brisbane owns and operates several automotive dealerships, representing some of the world's most desirable automotive brands including BMW, MINI, Volvo, Ferrari, and Rolls Royce.**

As the **Workshop Foreman**, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our Reconditioning Department at our Eagle Farm site.

Reporting directly to the Reconditioning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and exceptional servicing, maintenance, and repair of vehicles. Your expertise and guidance will contribute to the technical competence of the service department through training and mentorship. Additionally, you will be entrusted with delivering top-notch customer service, addressing customer requirements promptly and courteously.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Reconditioning Manager to ensure all vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards, minimizing rework.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Service Department's technical competence by providing advice, training, and mentorship to the team.
- Handle customer service and repair requests efficiently and courteously, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Ensure timely and accurate clocking for each job and complete all documentation accurately and punctually.
- Adhere to repair methods, diagnostic procedures, and guidelines, completing tasks within the allowed factory times.
- Ensure compliance with Manufacturer Repair Times Guide and Sime Darby Motors Group standards, correctly completing all works, including Quality Control.
- Assist in Workshop Management and workshop controller duties as required.
- Conduct general condition checks on customers' vehicles, recording any faults that will not be corrected by the repair order.
- Perform vehicle road tests.
- Provide leadership and support to the service department team, leveraging your trade qualification and previous experience in a similar role.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Trade Qualification in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience in a role of similar scope, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly Service Operations.
- Previous experience in a leadership position.
- Strong technical expertise.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering excellence.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide guidance, training, and mentorship to a team.
