Foh Server/cashier

Thai Away is looking for a front of house server, customer service and cashier to join our team in Auburn.

We’re dedicated to providing our customers with the best customer experience. We want to leave the best impression possible to our customers.

We are looking for hospitality staff with at least 1 year experience, preferably at a restaurant.

**Role & Duties**:

- Know how to use POS, cash register & EFTPOS
- Packaging orders
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Welcome all customers in a timely fashion making sure you are recommending the best products to provide them with the menu
- Take and serve food and drink orders and upsell additional products
- Comply with food and safety
- Ensure all front of house areas are clean, wiped, tidy and ready for services
- Highly organised and being able to manage a high volume of customers
- Enjoy a fun and fast paced environment

**Other additional points**:

- Excellent spoken English
- Availability on Weekdays, Weekends & Public Holidays
- Own transport or ability to get to work for early morning shifts

**Salary**: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Auburn NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front of house staff: 1 year (preferred)
- Cashier/POS: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
