We are seeking a methodical, experienced, and result-driven Supply Chain Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this role contributes to the profitability, growth and return on investment of GPC Asia Pacific.

**About the role**:
Based in either Brisbane, QLD, Rowville, VIC or Glendenning, NSW, you will ensure that optimal supply chain plans are generated and executed for your supplier partners, by:

- Managing end to end replenishment tasks within your supplier and product portfolio
- Scheduled and timely ordering and delivery of inventory
- Maintain Inventory levels in accordance with business expectations
- Analyse and report supplier performance DIFOT and KPI metrics
- Building strong working relationships with key contacts - external vendors as well as internal departments such as Category Management and Group Support teams within the Repco & NAPA businesses
- Supporting the execution of integrated supply chain solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Actively participate in S&OP and strategic supply forums
- Work pro-actively with appointed 3rd Party Supply Chain partners

Additionally, our Supply Chain Planners are responsible for monitoring forecasts, supply, availability, and other various elements of purchasing, planning and S&OP.

**All about you**:
You will consider yourself to be a proactive and driven individual with:

- Previous experience in Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning roles
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, and ideally exposure to Access databases
- Strong drive to meet business deadlines and display resilience in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to develop trusted professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving ability
- A curious mind, focusing on solutions supported by sound analytics
- Well-developed negotiation skills
- Big picture view, allowing you to see the ongoing flow on effects of actions and processes
- Having a customer centric mindset
