Draftsperson - Architectural Metalwork

DRAFTSPERSON REQUIRED

The Fabrication Company is currently recruiting for a full time Draftsperson.

The Fabrication Company is the one stop shop for metal fabrication. Our facility is equip with new machinery including tube laser, table laser, press brake, turret punch, guillotines, saws, inhouse powder coating facility.

Role consists of, but not limited to:

- Preparing shop drawings/details for client approval/fabrication
- Programming or CNC machinery
- Understanding of various architectural metalwork products to determine the best options for construction.
- Assisting estimators with take-offs/BOQ's and quotations.
- Must have experience and be proficient working in Autocad/Solid Works/Sigma Nest/Inventor
- Have architectural metalwork drafting knowledge, ideally from a metal fabrication/construction background
- Work well under pressure and to time lines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and on the telephone
- Architectural & Sheet Metal work industry experience highly regarded
- Understanding of building codes

Remuneration will be based on skill level and experience.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Loganholme, QLD 4129: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Drafting in Architectural Metalwork: 3 years (required)
