**What You Will Be Doing**

Commencing in 2024, this exciting new role offers a unique opportunity for a Grade 2 Clinical Psychology Registrar to acquire experience and further their skills working with a variety of clinical presentations in the public health sector. The role will suit someone with a strong interest in Health Psychology and rehabilitation, with opportunities to work in acute, inpatient rehabilitation and geriatric wards. A regular day will see you conducting psychological assessments and formulating (brief) intervention plans and behaviour care plans with the support of your supervisor, and contributing to safe discharge planning. The role also involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams from medical, nursing and Allied Health background to ensure patients admitted to Peninsula Health receive high-quality holistic physical and mental health care in line with their goals.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Completed a Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology
- Be registered as a General Psychologist with AHPRA
- Be eligible to achieve an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology
- Have a strong interest in working as a psychologist in the public health secotr
