**POSITION TITLE**:Print Finisher

**LOCATION**: Melbourne, Victoria

**SALARY**: $70,000 per annum

**SUMMARY**:
Printco, the leading Victoria signage company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Print Finisher to join their team. The Print Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality production and finishing of various signage products.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Finishing Operations: Perform finishing operations on a variety of signage products, including real estate boards, corflute signs, banners, vehicle wraps, and more. This includes trimming, laminating, mounting, cutting, folding, and other relevant finishing tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the company's standards for accuracy, appearance, and overall quality. Identify and address any defects or issues promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain various print finishing equipment and tools, such as cutting machines, laminators, mounting devices, and other relevant machinery. Ensure they are in optimal working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with the production team to manage the workflow and ensure timely completion of projects. Communicate effectively to meet production deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of finishing supplies, including adhesives, laminates, substrates, and other consumables. Inform the relevant personnel when reordering is necessary to maintain smooth production operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the workplace to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies regarding signage production and finishing processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and advancements in print finishing technologies. Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Australian citizens or permanent residents encouraged to apply.
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Print Finisher within the signage industry.
- Proficient in operating print finishing equipment, such as cutting machines, laminators, and mounting devices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in finished products.
- Solid understanding of print finishing techniques, materials, and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Knowledge of workplace safety guidelines and practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
