YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the FP&A Team Leader, APAC, the FP&A Analyst APAC will have the following roles & responsibilities:
**Roles**:
Play a central role in the planning & reporting process of the region
Act as a key business partner for the APAC region
Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to senior management
Lead continuous improvement initiatives on systems, processes and tools

**Responsibilities**:
**Financial planning and decision support**:
Play a key role in the financial planning process
Support in providing insights to the business around key metrics (eg: sales programs, overhead, sales)
Support strategic decision making through delivery of timely, accurate and in-depth insights and identification of risk and opportunities
Support the analysis process on sales programs in collaboration with retail operations team
Recommend and develop new reports to support management decision-making
Ensure tight monitoring and controls on sales programs and commercial policies

**Accounting & Reporting**:
Perform monthly closing tasks related to sales and margins
Provide analysis such as variances actual vs forecast/budget
Contribute to the monthly management reporting package
Develop and maintain key reporting metrics
Execute recurring internal controls

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Economics or highly analytical field (Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
2-3 years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of IFRS and grasp of financial statements
Ability to think creatively, be a self-starter, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads
An eye towards continuous improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes
Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI ,Cognos Tm1 and other analytical tools would be highly regarded
