Nursery Hand

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Hand to join our Production Team. You will have the opportunity to continue to grow your horticulture experience and build a career with our established, family-run nursery.

You will have good industry knowledge and skills, enabling you to quickly adapt to the requirements of the role and to progress to training and leading small teams as required. Hourly rate negotiable dependent on experience.

**Core responsibilities**:

- Planting
- Budding
- Grafting
- Trimming
- Propagation
- General nursery duties; watering, weeding, loading trucks
- Assists in the training, instruction and coordination of employees as required

**Qualifications & experience**
- Victorian Driver's Licence
- 3 years + experience working as Nursery Hand or similar role
- Tractor driving experience an advantage
- Forklift Licence preferred

JFT Nurseries is one of the largest wholesale production nurseries in Australia with over 35 years' experience in the industry. Situated in the Monbulk area, we are an open ground nursery growing quality Fruiting, Flowering and Ornamental trees and shrubs.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Nursery Hand: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
