**Description**:
We are looking for a motivated professional, who wants to be part of our continued growth. You’ll be responsible for coordinating, managing and ensuring a timely and accurate movement of green beans.
This is a permanent full-time role, working our PM shift between the hours of 10am to midnight. Your working week will vary between 4 days and 5 days per week. Some weeks you will be required to work 8 hours per day from Tuesday to Saturday, and other weeks it will be 10 hours per day from Tuesday to Friday.
**Responsibilities include**:
Receiving, moving, checking, and storing all green bean goods between the warehouse, green bean storage facility and holding bins;
Safely operating the forklift and other industrial tools to move green beans around the facility;
Effectively communicate with production supervisors and roasters on roasting schedules to determine beans required/queuing arrangements
Comply with all site HACCP, SQF, and OH&S standards;
Assisting with inventory and cycle counts, and investigate variances;
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties.
What skills and knowledge do I need?
- Current forklift licence is a must.
- Physically fit, enjoys manual labour and understands the nature of working in a repetitive environment;
- Highly motivated with the ability to multitask, attention to detail, good judgement and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products;
- Strong & effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
