**About the role**

Ipswich Libraries is a dynamic, innovative and growing provider of a range of library and information services and products to the community. As Library Programs Delivery Officer, you will be part of the Library Programs team responsible for the development and delivery of high quality and inclusive library programs and initiatives that support literacy, learning and connection across the Ipswich region.

We are seeking a collaborative, proactive and enthusiastic member to join our creative and supportive team. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Contributing to the development, implementation and promotion of a wide range of library programs, events and initiatives including digital literacy
- Demonstrating a customer focussed approach and strive for excellence
- Providing dynamic and professional program delivery across Ipswich Libraries branches and diverse outreach locations
- Effectively engaging with, and presenting to, community members and groups of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in physical and online environments

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Library Technician) or equivalent qualification and/or relevant proven experience to carry out the range of duties required
- A current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence
- Working with Children Check - Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption Card
- The ability to be resilient, agile and a supportive team member
- A passion for community engagement with individuals and groups of all ages

A medical is required with the attributes to undertake a range of manual handling tasks which may include setting up for events, moving trolleys, loading and unloading vehicles and driving a range of Council’s vehicles.


**What's on offer?**

This is a fixed term position until September 2024, Level 3 with a salary commencing at $74,497, plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
