Out of School Hours Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for an Out of School Hours Team Leader who will work closely with a group of Educators to manage, motivate and support a cohesive team environment that inspires children.

Our client specialises in delivering a reputable Out of School Hours Care Service that embraces integration and involvement within the local school Community. They have a proven record of delivering excellence in providing high-quality programming to families. The workplace is part of a hub. The hub is designed for people of all ages to explore opportunities for lifelong learning from childcare, playgroups, health and wellbeing, workshops, community gatherings, events and more.

The collaborative nature of the role will have you responsible for managing the Before School and After School Care Programs and holiday programs daily over a working week of 36.25. The work hours are not negotiable and are as follows:

- Monday to Friday
- Before School Care: 6.30 am - 9.00 | After School Care: 2.45 pm - 6.30pm
- Various Shifts during the School Holiday Program
- Additional program planning time

- Be the face of the OSHC program.
- Create a positive relationship within the service community
- Support, collaborate and guide your team of educators to support the service and community
- Be open, caring and engaged with our team to help drive our mission of giving every child the best day ever.

**To be successful, you will need**:

- Excellent people skills You know how to get the best out of people's strengths, nurture their weaknesses and have an approachable, positive and respectful attitude towards everyone you encounter
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills with well-developed emotional intelligence.
- A minimum of 1 years experience working in an OSHC environment or equivalent, ideally some management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and understanding in the implementation and ongoing management of the EYLF and NQF
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the service
- Ability to build and maintain supportive and trusting relationships with children and families
- Demonstrated ability to oversee program planning, including design, delivery and evaluation
- Knowledge and understanding of the legislation relating to OSHC, including the approved frameworks 'My Time, Our Place.'

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma / Bachelor qualified within Childhood or Education studies or other ACECQA recognised qualification, working towards a qualification or the willingness to undertake.
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid HLTAID004, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36 per week

**Salary**: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour
