**Role Description**

This position plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the student resident community. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student success.

**Specific Responsibilities**

Specific responsibilities include:

- Provide timely and accurate information to prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process.
- Support the two Dean of Residents to ensure a seamless admissions process.
- Develop and maintain admissions records and databases, ensuring data accuracy.
- Support the Advancement Manager by preparing and scheduling for regional school marketing visits, university open days and other events and expos promoting the college.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional events and information sessions for prospective students.
- Fulfil reception duties 5 hours per week and as required.
- Reporting Relationships
- The Admissions Officer reports to the Advancement Manager who is responsible to the Master for the colleges’ alumni relations, fundraising and communication programs.
- The Admission Officer works closely on a day-to-day basis with the New College Dean of Residents for seamless admissions process.

- Relevant experience working in a customer service environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good computer and database skills.

- Conditions Of Employment
- This position is a front office role offering services to student residents.
- The position would be offered initially as a permanent position Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm on a standard 6-month probationary period, with some flexibility required during peak periods of activity, such as college and university information days.
