The Company

People2people are partnering with an organisation that has been advancing in their industry for over 10 years. This IT Services and Consulting business work with major technology vendors to service top tier organisations across multiple industry sectors including Government & Defence, Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare and many more.
Due to growth, there is an exciting opening for an Account Manager to join the Macquarie Park (2114) team and take ownership of the Government & Defence portfolio.

The Role
- Maintaining and improving relationships with, and the customer service experience of a small set of Key Accounts and target prospective Customer Accounts
- Effectively network, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities within these Accounts
- Qualifying, quoting, following up and closing identified sales opportunities
- Provide accurate reporting to the business and customers as required

Experience

To be successful you will need;
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role servicing a portfolio of Government and Defence customers
- A strong interest in technology and passion for assisting customers to implement technology-based solutions
- An understanding of products available from major IT brands such as HP, Lenovo, Dell, Juniper and Cisco
