IT Assistant

Bayside International College is one of the progressive Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) based in Sydney, NSW. We are currently looking for **a** part-time IT assistant staff member, the assistant would be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the computer system in Mascot Campus.

**IT Assistant Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Installing and configuring a new network
- Maintaining and repairing networks, peripherals and helping colleagues troubleshoot the problem
- Perform routine PC maintenance
- Update workstation for office staff
- Assist in software and hardware upgrades
- Provide technical assistance to staff when needed
- Order and stock office supplies when needed
- Need to support other admin assistance
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

**IT Assistant Skills and Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in information system
- Must possess a minimum of 2 year of experience in project management
- Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail, prioritization skill, and time management
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
- Motivational and communication skill
- Great technical knowledge about network and PC hardware
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
