**About the role**

Thales Australia Vehicle & Tactical Systems exists to develop protected mobility vehicles, developing specialised products to meet specific requirements not catered for elsewhere. As a domain, the goal of Protected Vehicles (PRV) is to develop an organisation that provides world class Protected Vehicle solutions and through life support to defence organisations around the world. This will include the support and improvement of Bushmaster and Hawkei vehicle variants and the development of new products.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Author Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) technical solutions
- As an ILS technician, actively participating in the development of ILS deliverables for Thales product and services as part of bids and proposals, in service monitoring and product development activities
- Application of Technical standards and specifications
- Create the technical documentation meets the design solution, supportability and availability goals and objectives
- Creation of ILS Support System Documentation and Training Solutions to agreed standards
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, proactively developing those relationships

**How about you?**
- Associate Diploma in Electrical/ Systems/Mechanical Engineering and/or significant relevant technical experience
- Expert in at least 2 of the specialities with competence in the others: Technical Publications (Editing), Training
- At least 2 years of experience in technical publication creation
- Possess a Certificate IV in TAA
- Experience conducting system validation activities

**Good to Know**

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
