Stable Foreperson

Eagle Farm, Australia Munce Racing Full time

Munce Racing, located at Eagle Farm Racecourse, is looking for a foreperson for their growing stable to join their team. The successful applicant must have prior thoroughbred race stable experience and is keen to take that next step in their career.

The position is full time with early morning starts and rostered afternoon and weekend work and the requirement to be available for trials and racedays.

A competitive package will be offered to the successful applicant.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Monitor a horse’s health, nutritional needs, and well-being.
- Organise groundwork.
- Mentoring staff.

Essential skills required:

- Enjoy working in a team environment.
- Honest and reliable.
- Love of the horses.
- Can-do attitude.

A HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant must have a current stablehand license.
