**Our quest**

Hello. We’re The Y WA and we’re looking for a ‘Area Manager - Early Learning Centre (ELC)’ to join our exceptional Children Services team based in Welshpool (Perth, WA).

We need you (and your inspirational leadership) to head up our ELC services and support our Y People in their learning and growth.

**What you’ll be doing**

On day one, you’ll sit down for a cuppa with the ‘GM, Children Services’ to kick off your induction. You’ll then become acquainted with your two new work friends (Area Managers), who’ll assist with your training and onboarding. When ready, you’ll take carriage of a portion of our ELC business. You’ll then spend quality time with your ELC Directors and help them meet (or even exceed) quality, compliance, and performance objectives. Sounds interesting? **You’ll be great in this role if you**
- Hold a Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent)
- Like to reflect on your 3 years+ team leadership experience
- Are able to travel across services including regional WA
- Thrive with challenges and have a leadership style that can adapt to different situations.
- Have previous financial management experience, including budget preparation skills
- Hold valuable knowledge about state & federal regulatory requirements in children services
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
